!±8± Marley Eternit Weatherboard - Is It Better Than Timber?

Weatherboarding is a popular method used in housing and developments across the UK where external cladding is required.

Marley Eternit weatherboard meets the demands of the building and construction industry who require ideal solutions and unique alternatives to traditional timber cladding.

What is Marley Eternit Weatherboard?

The Cedral weatherboard is manufactured using a fibre cement combining process. It is a rot free alternative to PVCu and wooden timber and offers the construction industry a simple way to install cladding that looks just like wood, but offers a high performance and low maintenance option.

The result is a long life, superior and durable product, which can be used to clad buildings and create window and door surrounds, in place of timber and PVCu.

The finished product is supplied with a natural, wood stained or painted finish which allows developers to adapt the final colour to meet project requirements.

Used in renovations, refurbishments and new builds, this type of timber cladding is man made. It is a unique alternative to using timber, and is a visually pleasing solution for many applications.

Benefits

The weatherboard is environmentally friendly and sustainable, and has many advantages over wooden timber which can be costly to maintain. Other benefits of using Marley Eternit weatherboard over traditional timber cladding are:

Resistance to rotting
Replicates the visual appeal of timber
Easily installed
A solution in place of wooden cladding
Withstands extreme weather conditions
Easy to maintain
Can be installed quickly
Available in 22 colours

The advantages of using Cedral Weatherboard far outweigh the use of wooden timber.

Where wood is susceptible to insect infestation, Marley Eternit is resistant to insects.

And where timber must be treated regularly, Marley Eternit weatherboard is designed to maintain its aesthetics, without the need to treat it regularly.

Uses
Marley Eternit weatherboard is used on new or existing framework. Timber battens, structural bonding and metal mechanical fixings can be used to attach the weatherboard to the frame of the building.

It can be used in an array of differing applications, from fascias and soffits to cladding a complete building:

Over cladding on old buildings
Total cladding on new builds
Cladding on timber, concrete and steel framed developments
Fascias & soffits
Window & door frames

The fibre cement product has been used on homes, commercial buildings, log cabins, pool houses, summerhouses and garages, proving that the product is a flexible alternative to timber.

The Weatherboard complies with fire regulations and remains its aesthetically pleasing profile over a long period of time.

Certification

Marley Eternit weatherboard has been approved for the BBA certification 06/4299. The British Board of Agreement is a major UK authority which uses high standards to approve certifications in building products, construction and materials.

Why Foam is Better Than Liquid Soap

!±8± Why Foam is Better Than Liquid Soap

One of the best ways to enjoy hand washing is with a foaming soap dispenser that gives you silky smooth foam. As you pump the dispenser, you know that it is more convenient and easy to use as opposed to a liquid soap dispenser. Once you feel the luxurious creamy feeling, you know you want to wash your hands more often than you usually do.

Foaming soap dispensers usually has a pump in gives you a pre-lathered form of soap. Since you do not have to rub it too hard to make dissolve the liquid soap, it makes it easier for you to wash your hands more quickly especially if you are in a hurry. When the mouse-like foam lands on your hands, it does not give you an icky sticky feel that you get from a liquid soap.

Another good thing about foaming soap dispenser is the fact that you get to save more money than liquid soap. It is said that both can help you save money because you do not get more than what is needed. While this is true, there are tendencies for liquid to run down between your fingers and leave a messy trail. This then, does not show liquid soap as being economical.

The good thing about foaming soap dispensers is its ability to create a stiff whipped form that does not drip off from your hands. It maintains its foam form until you rub your hands together. Since it has already been pre-lathered, you do not have to worry of the liquid getting stuck between your fingers undissolved or leaving residues. Washing it under running water is fast and convenient since it easily rinses off without extra effort needed.

There have been negative reviews for liquid soap dispensers are of the liquid getting hard inside the pump, making dispensing difficult. As a result, you have to press it more and before you know it by the time pump is cleared, you have more soap than what you need. It is then best to have wall-mounted liquid dispensers similar to hand sanitizer dispensers that are user-friendly. However, since the pump is upside down, there are still tendencies for the liquid to leak.

With its luxurious feel, hand washing becomes more appealing and enjoyable. It is a good way to motivate people to frequently wash their hands not just for the feel that the foaming soap dispenser provides, but also for the health benefits that they will get.
